As if coming off the back of a bucks weekend wasn't enough to deal with, our crew of crusaders from all over then had to battle through the worst Sydney storms in 10 years on our way north to the wedding destination of Byron Bay...
With trees across roads, mass blackouts, 100kmh winds and freeways flooded, it was an interesting journey north to say the least!
Thankfully, after 8 or so hours on the road, we pulled up in Coffs north of the low pressure system and rolled into an amazing resort hookup care of our brother from another mother, Mr Dion Myers.
Excitement levels were high and though the surf in Coffs didn't end up delivering, the Big Banana certainly did....
Pearl of the north looked brutal...
And washed up pieces of a broken boat
And a couple o salty sea dogs...
Patonga was closed for the day...
Roadblock...
Buzzing...
8 hours to sunshine... And bananas...
