BULA!

A couple o weeks back, I had the amazing opportunity to work on still and motion content for Fiji Airways through some of my favourite people at FLIPP Management. There was a lot of Fijian pride abuzz all over the island as Fiji were hoping to win their first Olympic medal in the mens rugby sevens. Fast forward a week and it was GOLD for the small island nation! Huge congratulations to the team, and all our Fijian friends we met along the way!
Our trip was a full on few days of running around Nadi Airport but we were super happy with the results, given our small team, logistics and time constraints. The motion piece is below and the stills are up on the Fiji Airways Facebook page...
Fiji is beautiful in many ways, but the friendliness and hospitality of its people is what really sets it apart. Bula vinaka!

to bath and beyond part two... biking and hiking...

Our second day in Bath involved a ton of exploring, both biking and hiking... It was awesome to get out and about in the British countryside... Canal-side pints at lunch, towpath races with Vinny, seeing Louis' face light up on his first ever bike ride... Luce and Mama H enjoying the fun of holding hands while cycling, Claire's French elegance coming out in her velo steeze... The best of times! : )
Canal curves...
Winding waterways...
Speed demon...
Pretty green...

yamba to ballina trippin...

Our third day of road trippin will I'm sure be burned in our collective memories for many years to come…
The view from our reasonably priced room suggested there was still lingering swell and the call was made to check out the nearby point break of Angourie… We arrived to find inconsistent peeling rights under picturesque blue skies, but few of us expected the treats awaiting us around the corner…
For the next few hours we were treated to some of the funnest 2 foot peaks you could ever find… Thankfully, a couple of the photos actually do the session justice…
Moving north towards Byron, we stopped in at South Wall Ballina and, though the wind had turned, there were still loads of fun wedges to be shared…
Following a golden ferry ride back to the highway, we paid a visit to Ballina's giant prawn before moving on to Byron to get settled in our various accommodations…
It was wild to think what an epic few days it had been…
Even crazier to think back now, that the good times were just beginning…
Roll over and check the swell...
Angourie in all its glory...
 Buck in headlights...
 Buck bouffon...
 Definitely a couple out there...
 Jig locks in...
 Still checkin?! But why?!
Pick a craft, any craft... This shot sums up this session for me...
 Wedgey! Including the horizon...
 South wall slabs...
"Shoulda seen my one down the beach..."
 Golden times...
 Prawn vibes...
North wall also had a couple...
In the afternoon light...
