BULA!

A couple o weeks back, I had the amazing opportunity to work on still and motion content for Fiji Airways through some of my favourite people at FLIPP Management. There was a lot of Fijian pride abuzz all over the island as Fiji were hoping to win their first Olympic medal in the mens rugby sevens. Fast forward a week and it was GOLD for the small island nation! Huge congratulations to the team, and all our Fijian friends we met along the way!
Our trip was a full on few days of running around Nadi Airport but we were super happy with the results, given our small team, logistics and time constraints. The motion piece is below and the stills are up on the Fiji Airways Facebook page...
Fiji is beautiful in many ways, but the friendliness and hospitality of its people is what really sets it apart. Bula vinaka!

2230 airways...

I spent a lot of my late teens and early twentys hanging out in the 2230, surfing, filming, drinking and partying... Some of the best times and peeps of my life... It's funny how certain places and people align themselves with one another and Cronulla and Margaret River certainly had something going on...
I always love flying above places I'm familiar with on the ground, but flying south from Sydney is really something special... The coast looks like it's jaggedly cut straight out of the sea, there's the history of Botany Bay, and to see Shark Island breaking from the air never ceases to spark the imagination...
Big love to all my 2230 brethren!

South of Sydney adventures in a timeshare far, far away...
A quaint apartment, coastal explorations, Lucy's first foray into golfing, riverside relaxation and a ton of white line fever, clocking kilometres with music on my mind... That and, of course, star jumps...
