manly family...

I've been spending a bunch more time in Manly in the past six months... My niece moved there last year, I often meet a friend and colleague there for work and I play for a northern beaches football team... It can be a frustrating place to get to and from, but, if you can make it work for you, it seems like a pretty idyllic lifestyle!

stralya day...

What could be more Australian than spending an afternoon amongst the masses at Bondi Beach?!
A few friends, a couple o brews and splashing about it the Pacific as the sun goes down... This was how we spent our 'Stralya Day on the 26th of January earlier this year...

alfs boat shed explorations...

Photographic reconnaissance missions scouting new locations are almost always awesome.
New scenery, new shapes and, in this case, fun filled tinny trips from Alf Stewart's Boatshed in Summer Bay... Ever exploring!

barossa...

I was lucky enough to visit the beautiful Barossa Valley last year as part of a job for Lilydale Farms, assisting ledge Sydney photographer Paul Blackmore. Though we were working just outside of Adelaide, a cricket match in the city meant all the hotels were over booked and over priced, leaving us with (sigh) no option but to crash at the Barossa Novotel... When life gives you grapes... ; )

a colombian birthday down under...

My good friend Juan celebrated his birthday a little while back now on a scorching day at Shelly Beach. Vibes were high with smokey BBQ styles, good tunes and a great crew... I took the trusty Kiev 60 with me and cross processed a roll of Provia 100, just to mix things up for a change...
I remember feeling very sentimental about being Australian this day for some reason...
Sea, salt, sunshine and a smokey BBQ will do that I guess!

work and weddings, rehab and recreation...

Fair to say it's been far too long between blog posts...
In the months between, I've managed to rehabilitate a torn medial collateral ligament in my right knee, sustain an enjoyable and always enlightening career as a photo assistant and digital operator with some of Australia's best photographers, plan the party of a lifetime where I married the girl of my dreams in the company of some of my finest family and friends, and... play a lot of football!
I've got loads to catch up on and, given a couple of quiet days, should soon have a regular feed of images and occasional words for your consumption...
I'll also be trying to integrate this blog and my Instagram a little more (also @lessthanasecond) so have a look there if it's your preferred method of scrolling...
Hope you enjoy... I'm looking forward to sharing...

tomakin trippin...

South of Sydney adventures in a timeshare far, far away...
A quaint apartment, coastal explorations, Lucy's first foray into golfing, riverside relaxation and a ton of white line fever, clocking kilometres with music on my mind... That and, of course, star jumps...
