coastal times...

Had a brief respite from work the week before last and took the opportunity to visit the parents in their always idyllic home in Ettalong Beach... Sandy seaside walks with Ma, Pa and Dana dog and balmy bbq evenings with a couple o glasses of red...

Also finally had the opportunity to present Mama with her belated birthday present, a commissioned portrait of the family pet, care of talented artist and friend, Grant Molony.

manly family...

I've been spending a bunch more time in Manly in the past six months... My niece moved there last year, I often meet a friend and colleague there for work and I play for a northern beaches football team... It can be a frustrating place to get to and from, but, if you can make it work for you, it seems like a pretty idyllic lifestyle!
