rules of engagement...

A lot can change in less than a year!
Last September my favourite person in the world surprised me in Sydney Park by asking for my hand in marriage... Since then, we've planned and celebrated our Australian wedding and honeymoon'd down the east coast of Oz, among our usual hectic social and sporting calendars... : ) What a life!
So it was on that sunny September morning, I was surprised with bunting, bubbles and a slightly blubbering Lucy Higgins asking for my hand in marriage... LOVE...

work and weddings, rehab and recreation...

Fair to say it's been far too long between blog posts...
In the months between, I've managed to rehabilitate a torn medial collateral ligament in my right knee, sustain an enjoyable and always enlightening career as a photo assistant and digital operator with some of Australia's best photographers, plan the party of a lifetime where I married the girl of my dreams in the company of some of my finest family and friends, and... play a lot of football!
I've got loads to catch up on and, given a couple of quiet days, should soon have a regular feed of images and occasional words for your consumption...
I'll also be trying to integrate this blog and my Instagram a little more (also @lessthanasecond) so have a look there if it's your preferred method of scrolling...
Hope you enjoy... I'm looking forward to sharing...

vic and tim, in black and white

The last stop on our whirlwind tour of the UK in May took us to the countryside of Bruisyard Barn in Suffolk for the wedding of our friends Vic and Tim. Such an awesome gathering of family and friends in the most picturesque location. From afternoon cocktails in the sunshine, to games on the grass, small batch kegs of British ale, speeches both silly and sweet, dancing, drinking, photo booth fun, and a never ending banquet of food...
It was an incredible day and, I can only imagine, the perfect one to celebrate the start of Vic and Tim's new life together... Big love to you both!
And special big ups to our amazing crew for the day, Lucy, Josh, Robyn, Abi, Ollie, Jenny, Daryl, Steve and Chloe... The best of times!

a pickle floyd wedding...

Cornwall, as always, was action packed and we finished on a high at the wedding of one of Lucy's best friends Lily Pickles and her now-husband Adam Floyd... Their special day was a DIY testament to each of them and their individual loves (Lily, polka dots, Adam, rock music), as well as their awesomeness as team! Big love to you both! xxoo
