a change of plans...

So my original plan following the Maden/Ramsay wedding was to head off adventuring to The Faroe Islands via Copenhagen for a frosty photographic expedition...
However, after my brother's bucks, a boozy week long road trip, my brother's wedding, two days of travel to Europe, jetlag, hayfever and another fun filled wedding, I was running on empty...
So I decided to instead jet to the familiar town of Kitzbuehel in Tirol to visit some old friends, do some cycling, and generally refresh by breathing in some fresh alpine air...
Big thanks to Josl and Wirlybird for teeing up my surprise arrival and to two of the finest, Millpop and AMK for the hospitality and golden times... Big love! xxoo
Three girls, one bath, no water...
London light, pre flight...
Getting reacquainted with old friends...

Through the forest to the summit!
 Onwards and upwards...
And the reward on the way back down...

blackheath wanderers...

My girl Lucy absolutely loves netball, and has found herself an ace group of girls to play with in our local area, the Blackheath Wanderers... I went along a couple of weeks back to check out their skills, support the team and take a few pics with the ol' Xpan, on what was an unseasonally warm March day... Lovely lovely Lewisham...
 Deeee fence!

last lifts...

One of the most frustrating parts of this shitty snow season was the unusually late Easter. Had the snow base maintained, the lifts would have remained open until the end of April, making for an unusually long season. Alas twas not meant to be... However the main Hahnenkamm lift ran over the Easter weekend and I made the most of the opportunity to do some springtime wandering...
