These two! Sydney really is a little less special without them in it... : (
At the moment, Em is covering the Olympics in Rio, while Dave is traipsing through the Americas in an RV... I'm a little green with adventure envy!
Here's a couple o portraits and a rad group o friends from their going away bash a while ago...

manly family...

I've been spending a bunch more time in Manly in the past six months... My niece moved there last year, I often meet a friend and colleague there for work and I play for a northern beaches football team... It can be a frustrating place to get to and from, but, if you can make it work for you, it seems like a pretty idyllic lifestyle!

a colombian birthday down under...

My good friend Juan celebrated his birthday a little while back now on a scorching day at Shelly Beach. Vibes were high with smokey BBQ styles, good tunes and a great crew... I took the trusty Kiev 60 with me and cross processed a roll of Provia 100, just to mix things up for a change...
I remember feeling very sentimental about being Australian this day for some reason...
Sea, salt, sunshine and a smokey BBQ will do that I guess!

round and round...

Towards the final days of our 2015 Euro adventure, I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to smash out some fixed revolutions around the London Olympic Velodrome. Though it wasn't my first time riding fixed, it was my first time on the berms and banks. Needless to say, it's initially quite intimidating riding without brakes on angles of around 45 degrees, though by the end of the session I was hooked and keen to have a crack at Eddy Merckx hour mark! Another day perhaps...

casa higgins...

During our time in PZ, we were lucky enough to take in the luxury of the new Casa Higgins overlooking the bay near Newlyn... It's always a pleasure spending time with Chris and George and was awesome to see their new project coming along in leaps and bounds! Belated 40th anniversary greetings to you both!

tremenheere sculpture gardens...

What an amazing place! Especially for a day out adventuring with a sister and a niece... Beautiful gardens, incredible views to St Michaels Mount and a growing number of sculptures and contemporary art... Glorious!

richard stewart...

Rich and I first met in 2009 while working on the surf film Powers of Three together... We instantly hit it off and went on to work together a bunch while i was living in the UK... I even helped him build a house!
Though we only catch up on the odd occasion, I always seem to leave with my soul a little happier than when i arrive... These few pictures are some of my favourites from the trip, taken in between some story telling and stove top coffee out on the Lizard... Big love Rich...
