crushing the crust... a week of winter...

I really can't get enough of shooting pow turns... So hard to nail but enjoyable all the same... Thankfully Andy C has got a pretty damn good one, even in the mid afternoon crust...

raffi's radness... a week of winter...

Big turns, an eye for lines and photo opportunities, not to mention some epic street skills... It's been ace to watch Raf's progression over the past few years... Definitely a couple of my fav pics from this day of days...
Pow slash for the OB crew...
Through the trees and down the hill...
Tight line with fine views...

keno's cloud... a week of winter...

You just know the next run's going to be good when the trees are caked like this...

bits and peoples... a week of winter...

What makes an amazing day of snowboarding in perfect pow even better? Sharing it with friends!
We rolled pretty deep at times on this day and though decision making seemed, at times, like pulling teeth, it's tough to top the sound of a round of hoots as you put down a massive turn...
Cheers for an ace day friends, and here's to many more!
When roofs and trees look like this in town, it's going to be a good day...
Jossi covers his own face in schnee...
 Sarah speeding and leaving clouds...
Max shrugged off sickness for a couple of sweet runs...
Krusty Keno...
Andy pushing a ton of pow...
Raffi picking a gap through the trees...
Smile peeps! It's a good day!

Not too many words really needed here...
This is what snowboarding means to me...
As demonstrated by Mark Ellis...

As fun as it looks...

roadside freeriding... a week of winter...

"Oh hey, you should come and check out my new place... We have a stump run in the back yard..."
This was literally the situation we were presented with after Andy Phillips scoped out this randomly awesome pillow line right by the roadside...
No hiking needed here, just a quick pick up and drop off care of the designated driver and you're ready to shred. Fun times and probably some of my favourite pics of the week...
